Dr. Sponseller is an assistant adjunct professor at Augusta University. Dr. Sponseller graduated with honors from Northeastern State University College of Optometry in 1990. She is the recipient of the Harold Kohn Memorial Award for Research, Varilux Award, and the Outstanding Low Vision Clinician Award. Dr. Sponseller performs general eye examinations, routine and specialty contact lens fittings, as well as performing all of the pre-operative and post-operative surgery care at the Eye Care One Laser Vision Center located in our Washington Road location. Dr. Haubert received his undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan in 1997 and then graduated from the Michigan College of Optometry in 2001 with high honors. He was the recipient of the Beta Sigma Kappa Medal and the Corning Medical Optics Low Vision Award. Dr. Haubert performs comprehensive eye exams including detection and treatment of eye disease, contact lens fitting, and pre and post-operative refractive surgery care. Dr. Haubert completed clinical rotations in primary care, special needs, and ocular disease. Dr. L. Danielle Drake is a Clemson University graduate with a degree in Biology/Pre-Med and minors in Psychology and Literature. She attended the Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, TN graduating in 1993. She previously practiced at Specs Vision Centers in Greenwood and Aiken with Dr. Rhett Richardson and Aiken Ophthalmology with Dr. Nini Patheja. She most recently practiced at Folline Vision Centers in Columbia for the past 16 years. Dr. Laura Belka is a University of South Carolina graduate with a degree in Biology/Pre-Medicine and minors in Chemistry, Psychology and Business. She attended the Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tennessee graduating in 2006. Dr. Belka previously practiced in Lexington, South Carolina, and most recently practiced at Eye on Pooler, LLC in Pooler, Georgia.
